What should you know?

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Animal Kingdom. The food is tasty and there's plenty of it. And the seating areas are lovely.

What’s it like inside?

The Flame Tree doesn't look like much, but lurking behind it are a few large covered areas surrounding a pleasant fountain. The furthest ones border the water, offering great views across to Expedition Everest.

These outdoor seating areas aren't air-conditioned, obvioiusly, but there's usually a nice breeze, and there's plenty of covered seating. This is one of the nicer places to sit outside in the Animal Kingdom.

What are the specialties?

St. Louis–style ribs; smoked half-chicken; ribs and chicken sampler; pulled-pork sandwich; smokehouse chicken salad; mac and cheese with smoked pulled pork; plant-based sausage sandwich; child’s plate of baked chicken drumstick, hot dog, or PB&J sandwich; fries and onion rings; Safari Amber beer, Bud Light, Mandarin orange vodka lemonade, and wine.
