After falling through a drop door, two riders go down 124-foot body slides simultaneously. Their paths cross several times as they hurtle down translucent intertwining tubes. The blue Kala slide is intense enough, but the green Tai Nui side is like the VelociCoaster of slides: it starts fast and gets even faster as it goes. These slides are sometimes “Ride Now” even when other attractions have long virtual waits, perhaps because they are so intimidating. Note that you must climb more than 200 steps to reach the top of these slides.
