Guests go feet first down enclosed body slides across four lanes and through “underwater sea caves” (that is, plastic tubes). The orange slide in the center feels the fastest, while the two outside tubes are twistier; tuck your elbows in on the turns or you may be bruised. Punga Racers originally featured racing mats that guests rode while facing forward, but after several guest injuries, the ride was redesigned without mats and with a safer splashdown landing.
