One tower sports four Easter Island–inspired waterslides with rafts for single or double riders, who sit single file bobsled-style. The slides are similar but not identical—bear left to Tonga (the green slides) with more open-air sections if you get claustrophobic, or go right to Raki (the blue ones) if you like enclosed slides with lots of twists. The best thing about Taniwha Tubes is that they’re almost always “Ride Now,” and you’ll rarely wait more than a few minutes for your turn, so you can try out all four slides to find your favorite. This attraction may open 1 hour after the rest of the park.
